The Milton Regional Sewer Authority began receiving trucked waste in January 2003. Leachate, liquid sludge, septic tank and other trucked waste have all been accepted.
All waste haulers must be permitted by the MRSA before discharge to the plant may occur. Effective September 1, 2010 a $25.00 application processing fee is required along with the waste hauler application and necessary insurance documentation. The waste hauler application can be found here:
The current fee schedules for waste disposal are below. The fees for leachate disposal increase beginning January 1, 2012. The new leachate fee schedule is below.
The MRSA accepts waste during the following hours:
Monday thru Friday 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 7 a.m. until 2 p.m.
